Things have been going really well here lately. Money isn't an issue anymore, Wes and I are doing good, the roomate situation is great, and everything is all around great right now.

I'm 100% happy and I love it.

Being independant and living on my own just now got hard. 6 months after, what sense does that make?
My car broke and is going to cost $575 to pay it off. Thankfully, they're letting me pay $275 to get it out of the shop and paying the rest later. On top of that, I barely have money for rent, even though I have 10 days to make that, I doubt I'll work all of those days. My paycheck from work will probably be like $70-$80 dollars, which is better than nothing, and hey who knows maybe God will help me have 3 $100 dollar days on tips. Who knows? I'm praying my heart out to help me get out of this rut. I've even stooped as low as to asking all my friends on social networking sites to donate a dollar (or more) to my paypal to at least help out a little. It's not turning out well, but it was worth a shot. I have exactly $50 bucks in cash/bank right now. My parents and grandparents are helping with a little of the car cost. I'm an idiot.

rent-$340
car (after the down payment)-$300
geico cancellation- $32.75
^fuck my life^

a dollar is too much for people to spare. if any of you want to help out my paypal email address is sashaxpark@gmail.com. Courtney the sound guy at rcktwn has given me $7. And even with that I'm so thankful for. Any help at all would rule.

I'm trying my hardest to sell my futon and coffee table but because I have no pictures of it, no one is biting. Which I've texted my old roomate to take some pictures and apparently that's too hard to do cause he still hasn't even though I've texted him and reminded him 3 times! I was e even curtious and asked that if  someone wanted to buy it if I could just go there and have the person pick it up. Since I have a key still I can just walk right in there with no care ever but I'm a bit nicer than that. All I'm asking for is some fucking pictures.

I wish someone would by that converge hat I have for a retarded amount of money. Or any of my other merch, which when I get home I will be posting.  I'm looking for a second job and hopefully, this will never happen ever again.

I am almost all moved in to the apartment. For some reason, this move in was way easier than the move in from my parents house to mt. moshington. Maybe cause I had allll this stupid stuff that I got rid of in the move. But all I have left is my t.v. stand and my hell-hole of a closet which is clothes/clothes/clothes/a tupperware drawer thing/ and more clothes. FFFFFFFFFUUUUUUU.
I'm really excited though. It's only been a day and I'm already really happy. I just pray that things stay this way. I think they will though. It's an grade up from my previous living situation with the cost and having only 1 roomate. I like that.  We are both hardly ever home and we have like, one baby tiny common area which is way less to clean. I already cleaned the bathroom though cause that's like, my thing. I just like to clean bathrooms, haha! I don't know, it's weird. I have cats all around me which rules. Kiki, Rivers, and Eli. : D Cats, cats, cats!

Thursday I'm getting tattooed and I'm really excited. It seems like it's been forever. I'm getting the BFG above my ankle. Yep, I'm going below the thighs. When I mention the BFG everyone's like "whaaaat?" It's this lil' guy:
Does anyone remember him? It was one of my favorite books when I was little and I just got the idea to get him tattooed on me. It seems like I get too many little kid-esque things tattooed on me and I'm okay with that.

Other than the move everything is going really well. I got the new Blackberry Tour. It's pretty fancy I must say. I have a lot to getting used to, but I think I'll manage. I love it so far though. I need to invest in a skin or something cause I know I'll drop this lil' guy soon. Knock on wood.

Set Your Goals had an awesome set. It wasn't the best time I've seen them, but I still jammed...hard. Polar Bear Club I would say had the best set of the night. While Fireworks was alright, his voice cracked and wasn't on key the majority of the time and Four Year Strong, Well, after watching their whole set I realized that I still and will never like this band and I don't understand the hype. They played two covers which was cool, but they should've picked better ones.
After the show we took over Hermitage Cafe. It was kids from RCKTWN staff, some Knoxville friends I have, friends we have here, and Four Year Strong and Set Your Goals. It was sweet hangin' out and listening to ridiculous songs that they put on the jukebox.

The night before the SYG show, I had my friends in Downsided/Dead Heroes come over and party/stay the night since they had no where to go. Well, it was all awesome till 2 dudes got pretty belligerent and couldn't for the life of them control what they were doing. Luckilly everything was cleaned up before I woke up. Waking up to a clean house that your friends decide to do for you is awesome. But, when I walked in the bathroom, I come to find a broken toilet. Broken as in there's a crack in the tank and all of the water came out of it. : (. I'm fucking toilet-less until Dave brings home stuff from his shop. Can you say bummerwave?

BTW: I am jealous of everyone that went to Mstrcrft last night. I wish I wasn't so chicken shit to go and have fun that's not a hardcore show and with some different people. I had so many of my friends go and I could've easilly hung out with them there, but I was "tired" when really it was cause it's a different setting and I'll stress out over being there. fml.

I'm too excited for this show. SYG's new cd isn't the greatest but they're still one of my favorites none the less and Fireworks is awesome, as well as Polar Bear Club. I'll only enjoy Four Year Strong's set if they play all covers, which they won't. Hahaha!

Decent entry time? I think so.
So this past weekend, the Alcina boys, Jesse, and I went down to good ol' Alabama for some shows and some mad hangoutage. One being All In's last show. They've been around for so long and I've always kept contact with them and they've always been so nice. They've stayed at my place a couple of times and have always hooked me up with things so it was sweet but a bummer at the same time. Seeing last shows always give me an exciting feeling and it's not because of the subject matter, it's the fact that so many people are brought together and push away their problems with one another just to be there for a band, or their friends, or even a simple song. It's definitely an awesome thing to see. It was sad to see them go but it's almost become routine for me to see bands rise and fall for whatever reason.  I'm just glad I have fliers and merch from all of them.
The next day there was another show in Huntsville. All In's show was in Birmingham. We stayed at good friend of mine and Wes' named Josh, who has a perfect dog btw. We slept forever then woke up and did the typical tour thing where we walk around malls...yep. Cool life! Then we got to the show and played putt putt at the venue, it was sweet. It was also outside and everyone was hammered. I hardly drink, but it was so funny seeing all the bands play. Usually, the local bands are terrible, but these were sweet. I was friends with a few of the people, but that never alters how I feel about a band. We drove back that night and had an awesome drive home. I've realized that the drives are my favorite part mainly for the sing-a-longs and the shit talk. They're always so good.

I came home and the whole front room was clean! it was so nice, omg I wanted to hug my roomates forever all night, hahaha, that's how stoked I was. The house is really coming together. My room's a mess right now, but all the common areas are looking pretty good.

I bought some fabric spray that I'm going to use to put some stencils on some shirts. I wear white t's all the time so I mine as well put something on it, right? Oh speaking of wardrobes, I wore leggings for the past 2 days and EVERYONE made fun of it! And people wonder why I never look like a girl.

Things between Wes and I are awesome. Everything is great! We even handle problems in such a different way now. Rather than forgetting about it and pushing it under the rug or screaming and yelling at each other and saying things we don't mean we actually had a productive conversation. We solved the problem without raising our voices and it was honestly just awesome. We're both very aggresive people who don't hold much back so when shit goes down, it gets pretty bad but we both hate it. We're just glad we went though that and saw how awesome the result was. Gah, I sound like I just sold something.

Well, there ya go! I'm going to post pictures and some videos from the Alabama trip here soon. Wes has my camera right now so...

And I just realized that I never posted a picture of my tattoo I said I was going to get. Well, obviously I got it. The pain was tolerable, but it was no fun. I've just heard I take it all really well though.

It says "I'm trying to build a war". Santagold lyrics.

I feel the way I do about people for a reason.
It's not bullshit or just out of jealousy or whatever and for some reason, it seems to be all my friend's girlfriends. : (. Why must they all just be terrible wastes of air. Like Jess, Stephanie, Kacey, Erin, and basically all of them.

I dressed like a girl today. Hahaa.

We had a house meeting, and it went really well. We all talked about things we disaggree on, things we love, things we want to change and everything like that. I feel so much better, like a giant building has been lifted off my shoulders. Uh, I feel so good right now. I need to learn how to stop building things up and just say them when I feel like it. I never realized that it was a problem till now. But now I feel a lot better about it.
We had some people over after the Bracewar show, some close friends, some in the bands, some not so close friends, either way it was nice little hangoutage. Had a drink, hung out, and had a y2k dance party. Yes, a y2k dance party.

riot

Today, I went to that 10 bands for $10 tour in Knoxville. I was pretty stoked and everything considering that I got to hang with some friends and see some bad ass bands for 10 bucks. But things got sour once the first band, who was a local, covered a song and some "fight" breaks out. If you really want to call it a fight when it was really just kids piling on to a fucking Merauder cover.  The bouncers didn't like that so they pushed kids off and did their "job". One thing leads to another and it actually turns into a fight and a long one at that. Some more kids and more bouncers and even dudes in the bands like Crime in Stereo and Terror got involved. Not to mention the things that the vocalist of Fingers Crossed said to the venue as a whole. So it gets shut down and moved outside where we were promised to get our money back. So everyone is outside, things have calmed down and the owner dude comes out with tickets to any show in the Valarium, instead of our cash. WHY THE FUCK WOULD I WANT THAT? Seriously?  So kids are even more pissed. Shortly after that, cop after cop after cops are showing up throwing kids left and right in handcuff for saying things like "He's a minor" or something like that. Basically, publically stating that you disagreed, got you thrown in cop cars. The cops even brought out dogs. DOGS! And lets just talk about how this is all in like 20 minutes. 3 hour drive, 10 bucks, and we were in there for 10 minutes. Yeah, laaaaaaaame. I've never said things like "fuck the police" and meant it. I've never seen anything like I did today. I've never been in a situation like that. The news are calling it a riot. A fucking riot! I'm tring to get a video uploaded that I took.

There's a perfect sum of what happened here by a b9 poster who was there (which is completely accurate):
http://www.b9board.com/viewtopic.php?t=629096&postdays=0&postorder=asc&start=50

Here's a sum of what the knoxville news had to say:
http://www.wbir.com/news/local/story.aspx?storyid=93112&catid=2

After all of that went down, people are calling other venues including myself to get all or even some of this package moved. But turns out, there was already a house show arranged for it. So we went on to that. That was simply amazing. House shows are rare but to see Crime in Stereo, This is Hell, Terror, Trapped Under Ice, and The Ghost Inside play a fucking basement where kids just wanted to rage and have a blast was more than what any venue could offer. Something terrible turned into something amazing and I love the fact that I witnessed all of it.

There's pictures here:

Here's the video I took outside the venue:

Crazy day. I just can't believe that something that we see on tv all the time, happened today. 15 feet, less, in front of me.

So I'm getting tattoos under my tits some time soon.

I really like how they look and it's a simple place to get little lyrics or phrases that I love without putting them on my chest. Plus I think it will be sexy and I barely use that term. But hey, when I do, I really really feel that way.
So I have one set lyric I'm getting on one which is "I'm trying to build a war" Which is a Santagold lyric. Now she's not like, one of my absolute favorite artists or anything but the second I heard that line I said to myself "I have to get that somewhere!" You know being lame.
My other ideas I'm going to have to narrow down, so far I have:
"Let Your Beauty Unfold" - Brand New
"Now I know where I stand"
"It takes much more to break this skin" - Evergreen Terrace
"Work in Progess" -Set Your Goals (or a common phrase)
"Cheating Gets It Faster" -Jimmy Eat World

I'll probably have more jumble up but let me know what you think!
Seriously.

Also, if anyone has song lyrics about no regret, that'd be cool too.

partner in crime

I saw Public Enemies with Brandon and Jeremy last night. It was awesome. Way better than Transformers 2.
All Brandon and I said through the movie was stuff like "gah, badass" or "why can't I be him?" or in my case "why can't I be her?".
Not that I'm saying I now want to go rob a bank or anything, but a little partner in crime could be cool.
